Between The Tanks

Brick Lane Brewing Co. asked us to come down for a full production take over for their series of events ‘Between The Tanks.’ This series highlights Australian artists playing in the surrounds of the Dandenong’s, to a captivated audience at the brewery. The first series had Steve Kilbey & Sarah McLeod take to the stage. On the day we supplied staging, Front of House PA, monitors, lighting for the tanks, stage, and external lighting, including two skilled operators for lighting and audio. Great gig, can’t wait to go back!

The Hub Opens

Here to christen The Hub we welcomed Northlane in to take over the space in preparation of their world wide tour. Northlane were the perfect band to test our new production space. With their extensive technical requirements, having our office and warehouse right next door we could help them customise their gear to exactly their needs, to make sure it was cost efficient, effective and light enough to take around the world. Congrats on the tour guys!

MCRI Fundraiser

For the kids

When the team at the MCRI called us back in November the first thing we wanted to do was offer a donation of any equipment from our stock required for the event.

This event did bloom in to a rather involved night with a guest appearance from the one and only Jessica Mauboy

With this level of talent on the stage production gets stepped up and when this is all happening in what normally trades as a fine dinning restaurant you need to be innovative with how you go about things.

The saving grace on this one is that Eventcraft designed and installed the audio and lighting systems for the Stokehouse so we had events like this in mind.

For 1 most restaurants don’t have local 3 phase power outlets at multiple potential stage positions. This meant that when we wanted to put a 20 panel LED screen in at least power wasn’t going to stop us.

Clothing store to Club in 55mins

When the call came in for this one we really knew we had our work cut out for us.

The brief -

Supply Staging, Barricade, Audio, Lighting and install for the artist Desiigner.

The Catch -

A window of 1 hour to set up before soundcheck with the store remaining open…

The Result -

5 minuets to spare all thanks to military precision preparation from the team. This was a great result and a lot of fun to be been apart of!

Espy Podcasting Studio

2019 tech in a 1870’s building

During the build for the newly renovated Esplanade hotel we were asked if it was possible to put a podcasting studio in the middle of a busy pub…

It wasn’t easy but its ready to go.

Input panels were prototyped using our 3d printers and a set of 12 vintage Hal Leonard headphones were collected over 6 months to give the whole install a vintage look.

We have a waves enabled protools suit for all editing and mix downs and have been providing ongoing training and support to the venue to get them across industry practices for mixing and mastering of their own files.
